Seems like steam-punk aficionados Fearless Vampire Killers have taken a step back from the growling and turned to old-school pop-punk, the likes of early My Chemical Romance for their new single, ‘Neon In The Dance Halls‘. With a video featuring cameos from fellow eyeliner lovers Ashestoangels and daddy of the new goth-punk movement, William Control, this is definitely the sound of a young band taking their first steps towards stadium level. Good luck to them!
How did I miss this? (Oh right, I was in Mexico..). There’s no other excuse for not seeing the new Halloween-theme video for ‘All Hallows Eve’ from Fearless Vampire Killers. If my eyesight is correct, I reckon there’s a few cameos from some other eyeliner-loving bands in there. See if you can spot them!
Well it seems I can’t say enough good things about Fort Hope.. They’re a great band. and if you haven’t already checked them out on their support slots with Fearless Vampire Killers, or on Camden Rocks last weekend, you probably should now..
For anyone who can’t wait for the new Fearless Vampire Killers album (I know I can’t..), here’s a nice teaser for you! The band have just released a new video for the first single off their upcoming second album ‘Exposition: The Five Before The Flames’, a prequel to their debut.
‘Diamond Dust & Crimson Reign’ is more ballady than we’re used to with these guys, but that’s not to say it doesn’t have the same kick-ass chords that we love the band for. Plus the video seems to be following on the plot from their originals, which I absolutely LOVE. Just would like to know a bit more of the storyline..
It might be pushing it a bit to still be buying Christmas presents now, but if you fancy treating yourself, Fearless Vampire Killers have some really cute bobble hats going in their merch store. It’s just a shame they’ve already sold out of Santa hats and baubles!
