Wakey wakey, its Monday! If you’re not feeling caffeinated enough yet (and hey, there’s not enough caffeine in the world for Mondays, is there?), this should give you a bit of a jump-start. Don Broco have just released the video for their storming new single ‘Money Power Fame‘.
It seems the Brit-melodic-rock scene is alive and well these days. For those of you who don’t know their way around it yet, here’s a little taster for you. Southampton’s Circle Of Reason have been releasing a free track to download each month, taken from their back catalogue.
This month’s offering is ‘Silver Screen‘, taking elements from the alt-rockers of the 00s (think Smashing Pumpkins / early QOTSA). If you like what you see below, you can download it here.
Haven’ heard of Die! Die! Die! yet? You’re definitely missing out. The punk-esque three-piece have just released their fifth album, ‘Swim‘ ahead of a full European tour this Autumn. They’ve already picked up some good feedback from The Skinny and Line Of Best Fit, as well as a solid following in their homeland, New Zealand.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, Inherit The Stars are one band who (deservedly) are going to go far.. This new stream of ‘On Our Own‘ from their new EP ‘Beyond The Beacons‘ should guarantee the Sheffield boys some decent exposure with its eerie, synth led melodies and energetic chorus.
You know we’re nearly in the month of Halloween when the heavy rock singles start pouring in.. Suburban Myth channel classic rock with a powerful seething vocal line and meaningful lyrics. Its clear why this band has already been picked up by the likes of Amazing Radio and BBC Introducing for their new single ‘Crashed and Burned‘.
The summer may have been and gone, but that doesn’t mean its too late for a bit of that sugary pop-punk we’ve all come to love from We Are The In Crowd. The quintet have just released their new video for ‘Manners‘, picturing the story of a bad breakup (hey, who hasn’t been there?).
Still a bit bleary eyed from the weekend? In desperate need of something to wake you up? Turn up those speakers and get this blaring out. Haven’t these Cambridge tykes gone far? It seems like just yesterday that Mallory Knox were releasing their storming debut ‘Signals‘, and now they’re about to put out their second record, ‘Asymmetry‘, next month. This new video for ‘Shout At The Moon‘ carries on their energetic sound with an equally catchy hook.
Bank holiday or not, its been a pretty long week here under the grey London skies. If you’re still struggling in the last few hours though, here’s a track to ease you through, ‘Revive‘ from Aussie rockers Hands Like Houses. This heartfelt little tune is taken from the band’s upcoming ‘Reimagine‘ EP, out on September 16th.
