Flashback: Paramore – Hello Cold World

Back in 2011, pop punk starlets Paramore released the ‘Singles Club‘ EP, a set of four tracks including ‘Monster‘ which was only available from the band’s website. Also featuring on the EP was ‘Hello Cold World‘, the antithesis to Taylor Swift’s ‘22‘, with its much more realistic approach to life as a young person.

New Music Monday: Come The Spring

There must be some kind of early-emo / post-hardcore resurgence going out, with so many classic bands on their ten year anniversary tours, plus countless young bands springing up with clear 00s influences. Brighton’s Come The Spring are one of them, echoing the sounds of INME at their most throat-scrapingly angry, with elements of heavier punk thrown in.
