Cambridge’s self-confessed ‘Doom Pop’ artists Lonely The Brave have certainly been busy lately! Not only have they released this beautiful new video for ‘Victory Line’, they’re also giving away a free download (yes, free!) of a live version of the single and ‘Streets of Philadelphia‘, taken from their new album ‘The Day’s War‘, which is due for release this September.
Check out the video below and get download from the band’s Facebook here.
Happy Friday everyone! Its a bank holiday too, so you’ve got no excuse but to go out and party tonight (except that payday is still one week away..). Anyway, let’s pull through the last couple of hours with this little tune from Communion Records’ finest Catfish & The Bottlemen, ‘Fallout’.
Wake up, its Wednesday! We’re going to get over hump day today by rocking out with our pop socks on.. That’s a thing now. Texas pop-punkers Driver Friendly have put together this lovely little tale of the perils of not being a superhero, all set to the sounds of their new single ‘Stand So Tall‘. I suggest you watch it now..
Bit of an unusual one for you guys tonight.. Londoner Ned Younger, bettter known as Monument Valley, has created a unique video for his new single ‘Tattooed Fists‘ inspired by the Canadian TV show ‘Night Walk’. Think a more stripped down version of The Streets, with indie undertones. Great stuff!
‘Tattooed Fists‘ is taken from Monument Valley’s debut album ‘Walking On Skin‘, out June 9.
Well, not only have the awesome Of Mice And Men released a killer new tune, they’ve also got a little competition going for you! Head over to their website now and share the video for their kick-ass single ‘Would You Still Be There’ and you’ll be in with a chance of winning some great swag from the Orange County boys..
Leeds foursome Pulled Apart By Horses have just released their new video for ‘Hot Squash‘ and its a heavy one! With its melodic chorus interspersed with screams and frantic guitar playing, this is definitely one not to miss. Stop what you’re doing and check it out..
Well if this isn’t a perfect song for a Monday, then I don’t know what is. Boston rockers Transit have really nailed it with this stripped down version of their single ‘So Long, So Long’. Swapping the carefree pop punk feeling of the original for a more heartfelt and hopeful plea, this is exactly what you need to get through a grey weekday afternoon..
Here’s a lovely chilled on to get you through that post-bank holiday blues. Vancouver’s own indie-pop songstress, Hannah Georgas has just released a video for her new single ‘Enemies‘, taken from her self-titled new album.
Close your eyes, take a deep breath and have a listen..
