Wakey wakey, its Monday! If you’re not feeling caffeinated enough yet (and hey, there’s not enough caffeine in the world for Mondays, is there?), this should give you a bit of a jump-start. Don Broco have just released the video for their storming new single ‘Money Power Fame‘.
Have a lookey here..
Did everyone have a good Halloween? I was out rocking my 15 year-old self’s battered goth boots and fishnets (both felt surprisingly comfy) and generally screaming the house down with some low-budget horror flicks.
Moving on, here’s a new tune that’ll rock your stripey socks off, the furiously relentless ‘Bloodline’ from Texan metalcore quartet Crown The Empire. The track is taken from the band’s second album ‘The Resistance: Rise of the Runaways‘.
You know we’re nearly in the month of Halloween when the heavy rock singles start pouring in.. Suburban Myth channel classic rock with a powerful seething vocal line and meaningful lyrics. Its clear why this band has already been picked up by the likes of Amazing Radio and BBC Introducing for their new single ‘Crashed and Burned‘.

Still a bit bleary eyed from the weekend? In desperate need of something to wake you up? Turn up those speakers and get this blaring out. Newcastle, Australia’s Trophy Eyes have just released the video to their storming new single ‘In Return‘, a relentless tirade of passion and anger poured into just three minutes..
It’s officially the end of summer, so let’s give it a good send off today with a tasty slice of pop-punk from the masters, better known as New Found Glory. ‘Selfless‘ is taken from the band’s upcoming album ‘Resurrection‘, due out on October 7th.
Shove that festival gear away til next year and get listening..
Have you missed me? I’ve had laryngitis for the past couple of weeks, so thought this video would be pretty appropriate, seeing as I’ve been spending enough time around nurses (although none wielding needles like this!).
A Higher Demise‘s new video for ‘My Therapist Knows You By Name‘ is a stomping mix of screams and melodic verses for any good post-hardcore fan to tune into.

Happy Monday all! If you’re not recovering from Glasto (anyone see Metallica? I didn’t..), there’s a top rock tunes here up for your listening pleasure. Bristol’s rock’n’roll enthusiasts BlackWolf have already been picked as a track of the week from Classic Rock, in the same issue as their fellow blues-tinged-rockers Rival Sons. If that isn’t enough to convince you, they’ve been hitting the road with the likes of The Answer, and have a show lined up in Bristol next month with (one of my personal favourites) Reckless Love.
Still not enough? Have a listen to this..
Blurring the lines between the art-rock tendencies of Franz Ferdinand and the upbeat catchiness of Vampire Weekend, Brit-pop band MOVIE have certainly put their art college years to good use with their striking new video for ‘Ads‘. The band have already picked up some great support from Radio 1, 6music and XFM, with their single launch party hitting London’s Old Blue Last this Wednesday.
Don’t miss out, have a listen below!
Here’s one for all you indie kids out there – Salem’s own Night Windows, the solo project of Ben Hughes. A real ‘bedroom artist’, Hughes self-engineered and produced his upcoming debut album ‘Musicassette / Magnetic Memory‘, which is out on April 15.

It’s probably not the time to start thinking about sharks, what with summer coming and everything (I joke, summer is months away..), but this was too funny to miss out. Atlanta metalcore quintet Norma Jean have released their brand new video for ‘Sword In Mouth, Fire Eyes‘, taken from the band’s sixth studio album ‘Wrongdoers‘, released last year.
Remember folks, sharks need love too..
