Well just in case you haven’t heard the last of the Download roundups (and hey, who hasn’t written one yet – except for me?), I thought I’d share one of the bands that really stood out over that muddy weekend gone.

If you didn’t already know, I am a huge AFI fan, so whenever someone tells me a band is ‘the next AFI’, I’m naturally pretty skeptical. Luckily, Aussie metalcore band Northlane manage to bring all the energy of the aforementioned band (in their early, angry days, not the later, glamorous days).
